If you were a big fan of the Lord of the Rings films you’re probably familiar with who Peter Jackson is. I became very interested in learning about Peter Jackson after seeing the films simply because of the quality he was able to produce even though he hadn’t done very many big budget movies in the past. I was very amazed at how easy he made the whole process look and how easy it was for him to step into the shoes of "big-time movie director".
Once I found out that Peter Jackson was planning on directing the remake to the 1930’s classic King Kong I was excited. He had obviously proven that he can make a film of epic proportions with the Lord of the Rings trilogy and I knew that he was great at monster movies because of some of his past films. This remake is sure to be wonderful.
The problem was that I wasn’t able to find much information about the film. I kept checking the IMDB to see if there was any information there, but there never was much of anything to clue one in on the film’s progress. Then I found KongisKing.net. Wow. On KongIsKing.net you’ll find video journals from the set of the film as well as lots of other interesting tidbits.
There, now you can get your Peter Jackson fix for the day.
